This is an ongoing ministry to give a HUG to those who are struggling. We collect:
- body lotion
- hand cream
- toothpaste and toothbrushes
- nail clippers and emery boards
- deodorant
- bath and shower products
- Kleenex packs
- combs and brushes
- mouthwash, and
- socks.
All items need to be unused, and can be dropped off in the church lobby. The items are then placed in colorful bags and donated. In the past they’ve been donated to a women’s drug and alcohol inpatient facility in Pittsburgh and to the men and women at the City Mission in Washington, Pa.
We at Good Shepherd are blessed with so much. Let’s continue to reach out to others who are not as fortunate and give them a HUG.
